Mum and Polly have done nothing but talk about what a wonderful afternoon they spent with you all, old friends and new encounters. They both remarked on what a wonderful ting you did during this depressing time of year and the wonderful gift you gave to all assembled of your knowledge, time and self. I was really thrilled to see your dining room PACKED with people and you continually demonstrate to everyone the sort of life and excitement (that’s good for business) that can be brought back to downtown Ticonderoga. Hi Debbie, We are all enjoying the food SO MUCH, as usual. Last night's salmon was amazing, and the Greek Salad disappeared almost immediately. The lasagna and Tuscan Chicken are still being talked about, too. But I wanted to write about the cake! It was gorgeous, and the design was such an unexpected surprise. We all loved it, took pictures, etc. The sand was sandy, the water a perfect blue, and we loved the beach toys and shells. So we all just wanted to say that as usual, The Gourmet Gal has exceeded our expectations. We are looking forward to the rest of this week's meals. We'll be talking about the food, and that cake, well past next summer's meals as well! Thanks very much for everything.

Dear Debbie, Thank you so much for helping to make Moriah and Jeremy's at-home outdoor wedding all that we had hoped for. You guided us in the many aspects of planning a wedding, such as tent rentals and choosing a photographer. And your food was fantastic! So many people told me how great everything was--the appetizers, entrees, home-made bread. There was more than enough for everyone, with great leftovers (packaged and labeled) for the next day. The wedding cake was beautiful and delicious and our special-request icing looked perfect. Your staff was friendly and very efficient and you all left the kitchen and yard in as good a shape (or better) then you found it. Sharp House Centennial Celebration for 50 on 8/18/05
Everything was outstanding! The servers did a beautiful job in arranging the tables. The cheese layout on the hutch was a great inspiration!! We were very satisfied with all your recipes. From all the comments that I have heard and the notes received, the celebration was a smashing success. You out-did yourself! The food was excellent and the "House Cake", over the top! We all had a great time and the party went on for days. Following the open house on Friday from 1 - 5, we served 9 for dinner out on the terrace and then more on Saturday evening. The cheeses and crackers were great for starters with wine and beer and followed by a variety of other leftovers a few at a time. The shrimp was devoured; the deviled eggs "fought over" and "rationed"and "bartered for"! The cut up fruit became a very nice fruit cup with some blueberries thrown in. Since you try to keep track of what goes over in different areas, my observation is that after all were served, there were more chicken brochettes and proscuitto wrapped asparagus left than anything else. . . . go figure! It's so nice to have a full service caterer who handles details from reserving the building to renting the china! More importantly, you were willing to set-up and deliver the leftovers to the night staff at the hospital and nursing home. We were very satisfied with all three of our catered events. All items were nicely presented and in large quantity. The total cost was definitely reasonable and all the food tasted wonderful, especially the lasagna and the salad. We really enjoyed working with you and the great food and service! Debbie, I missed your salad dressing and I hear it was fabulous. I went with your "strong" recommendations of the kabobs and we were all VERY pleased! This is long overdue but I wanted to let you know that the graduation cake you made for me a few weeks back was WONDERFUL! Your cake recipe reminds me of one my mother used to make, which is probably why I enjoyed it even more! My nephew was THRILLED with the cake, which surprised me coming from a 6'4" football playing kind of guy. He thought it was especially cool that the graduate was dressed in his school colors.

That was the BEST Italian buffet. We could tell everything was homemade and it was fresh and hot for all the shifts, even in the middle of the night!.....what a difference! Great job to you and your staff.

Debbie, I just want to tell you how pleased I was at the meal you prepared for our Christmas Party on December 5th. Your salad dressing is wonderful! I assume it was a homemade recipe. Everyone raved about it and said it was very good. I heard NOT ONE complaint about the food! Even as we speak I can hear the CEO and the Maintenance Director raving about the food saying it was so good, it was all hot and served so quickly! The vegetarians loved the Tuscan meal...and were delighted that we honored their choices with something more original than Primavera! I just wanted to say thank you once again to you and your staff. Everything was wonderful from the hors d'oeuvres to the salad, entree, service and beyond! We look forward to planning next years party as you made this one such a success. Thanks again!
